Terms of use for the LinksApp API
Using the explorer or the API means you accept what follows. We kept it short, and we kept it general.

The short list
Your account
You sign in with Google and you are responsible for what happens with your key.
Prepaid credit
One credit is $0.0001. Calls draw it down. There is no subscription.
The data
It comes from our own crawler and index, refreshed roughly monthly, and may be incomplete.
No promises on rankings
Link data describes the web. It does not predict search positions.
Using the service fairly
Do not share a key in a way that exposes it, and do not attempt to break the service or overload it. If you resell the data, describe it as coming from LinksApp.
We may change or stop parts of the service. We may also block a key that is being abused, and we will try to keep any change visible on this site.
Availability
The API is provided as it is. We aim to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will never be down or slow, and we are not liable for what an outage costs you.
Plan accordingly. Cache what you fetch, and do not make a launch-day dashboard depend on a live call.
What we cannot promise
The index may miss links, and its DR is our own metric, not a Google number. Decisions you make with it are yours.
Nothing on this site guarantees a ranking, traffic or an install. The guides describe methods, and every worked example on them is labelled as an invented one.
Credit, balance and refunds of mistakes
Credit is prepaid. Each call states its cost in the _credits field, along with what remains. Check that field if a balance looks wrong.
If something goes wrong with a payment, contact us through the account page and describe what you did. We will look at it there.
Only the product facts on this site apply, so do not read other terms into them.
Questions about these terms
Reach us through your account page. The privacy notice explains what the service handles, and the about page explains what it is.
Using results in your own work
You may use the data in your reports, dashboards and internal tools. Say where it came from if you publish it, and do not claim a number is a Google figure.
Treat DR as our metric: round(100 times log(ref_domains+1) divided by log(2 times 10^7)). It is a log scale, so each extra referring domain matters less as a site grows.
