Privacy notice for LinksApp
This page lists what the service handles and why. It is written in plain words and kept general, because the service itself is small.

Lookups without an account
The free actions, domain, overview, stats and suggest, need no key. You send us a domain name; we return what the index holds for it.
Like any web server, ours receives the request itself. Treat anything you type into a lookup as something we can see.
Signing in
Sign-in is by Google account only. We receive the basic details Google passes on for that purpose and use them to hold your balance and your keys.
We have no password for you, so there is nothing for us to reset. Your Google account settings control what Google itself shares.
API keys and calls
A key ties calls to your balance, so we record that a call happened, its cost and the remaining balance. That is also what the _credits field in a response shows.
Keep your key private. A key published in an app or a public repository can be used by anyone who finds it, and the cost lands on your balance.
What we do not do with it
We do not ask for the name of your app, your store listings or your source code. A lookup needs only a domain.
We do not use the explorer to build a profile of the domains you check. The index describes the public web, and a lookup of a public domain is just a request.
Payments
Top-ups are made in USDT (TRC-20) from the account page. A blockchain transfer is public by nature, so assume the transaction itself can be seen by others.
We do not take card numbers. The $100 sign-up credit needs no card.
Asking about your data
If you want to know what is held about your account, or want it removed, use the contact options on your account page. We do not publish a separate mailbox for this.
The service is described on the about page, and the rules of use are in the terms of use.
Changes to this notice
When the service changes in a way that touches your data, we will update this page and its date. Check the date at the top of the page.
We have kept the wording general on purpose. We would rather say less and be right than list details that may not hold next month.
If something here is unclear, ask through the account page. We will answer there.
